Maree is an experienced lawyer with broad civil and commercial litigation experience. Her professional approach is to make sound determinations based on law, natural justice and the wider public interest.
Maree's talents and skills have been recognised by the Disputes Tribunal, which appointed her a referee at the age of just 28, the youngest person ever selected for this role. Maree held this part-time role for 5 years.
Her life experiences include working at an exclusive New York Jewish Country Club, factory jobs in South Auckland while studying and Crisis Line volunteer work.
When she's not working, Maree can be found making the most of the magnificent Central Otago outdoors, deer stalking, pig hunting and possum trapping. She's passionate about great food and wines and loves nothing more than enjoying her wild game spoils with a crisp bottle of champagne.
