Maree is an experienced lawyer with broad civil and commercial litigation experience. Her professional approach is to make sound determinations based on law, natural justice, and the wider public interest.

Maree's talents and skills were recognised by the Disputes Tribunal, which appointed her a referee at the age of just 28, the youngest person ever selected for this role. Maree held this part-time role in conjunction with a law job for 5 years.

Her life experiences include working at an exclusive New York Jewish Country Club, factory jobs in South Auckland while studying, and Crisis Line volunteer work.

When she's not working, Maree can be found making the most of the magnificent Central Otago outdoors, hunting in the hills and fishing in the surrounds.
