As the founding partner with many years of experience, Michael is a highly respected litigator with depth and breadth of experience. He combines a wealth of professional knowledge and expertise with strong personal and people skills.

Now a fully committed Kiwi, Michael started his personal and professional life in London, practising at the Bar. Here in New Zealand he initially worked for the Crown Solicitor in Auckland, before time with Russell McVeagh, and as a partner with what is now DLA Phillips Fox in Auckland.

Lured by the southern lifestyle, he moved to Queenstown and established his practice in 1998.

When he's not on a plane or in court, Michael can be spotted biking and hiking around the Queenstown area or, more likely, with his feet up reading, eating, drinking and generally making merry.

Although now living in rural Otago, deep-down he's a city boy and never misses the opportunity to get to Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch, or across the ditch to Australia.
